3rdInternational Day of Yoga was celebrated at Amrutha Varshini Sabhabhavana, Dharmasthala on 21st June 2017. Dharmadhikari Poojya Dr. D Veerendra Heggade presided over the function. Sri.T. Shyam Bhatt, IAS, Chairman, Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC),Mr. Ravindra Bhandary, General Manager, Canara Bank Head Office, Bengaluru, Sri Arun Pujar, Regional Head, NSS Regional Centre, Bengaluru & Dr. B. Vasanth Shetty, NSS Program Co-coordinator,RGUHS, Bengaluru were the other guests of the program.. More than thousand NSS Volunteers, students & Publics were participated in yoga demonstration.On behalf of International Day of Yoga, three day workshop was organized at our college on ‘Role of yoga on wellness and healing’ for 400 NSS volunteers & programme officers representing different universities of Karnataka organised by RGUHS, Karnataka
