Onthe eve of upcoming International Yoga Day, to draw the global attention towards yoga, SDM College of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences & Hospital, Ujire in association with Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India & Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, New Delhi organized a preprogram “Yoga Mahotsav-2023” on 02-06-2023 at an historical place ‘Bhagavan Shri 1008 Neminatha Swami Basadi, Varanga’. Sri M.Y. Harish, Executive Officer, SDM Educational Society (R.), Ujire President of the program inaugurated the Program along with other dignitaries. Dr Prashanth Shetty, Principal, SDMCNYS, Ujire, welcomed the gathering. Sri B. Seetharama Tholpadithaya, Secretary, Shanthivana Trust, Dharmasthala, Dr. Shivaprasad Shetty, Chief Medical Officer, SDM Yoga and Nature cure Hospital, Shanthivana, Dharmasthala, Dr. Gopal Poojary, SDM Yoga and Nature cure Hospital, Pareeka, Dr. Shashikanth Jain, Director of SDM Yoga and Moral Education Project, Sri Yuvaraj Ariga, Mangaer, Bhagavan Shri Neminatha Swami Jain Matt, Varanga were present in the programme. International Yoga Day protocol was demonstrated by the public and the students of our college from 7.00to 7.45 am.
