Our college was accredited with Center for Excellence by Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India and sanctioned a project of 9.80 crore rupees for the development of research in Naturopathy and Yoga. As a part of this project, foundation stone for the research building was laid by Sri. Shripad Yesso Naik, Hon’ble Minister of State for AYUSH, Independent Charge, Govt. of India on 24th September 2018 in the presence of Rev. Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari, Sri Kshethra Dharmasthala, Dr. S. Sacchidanand, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka, Sri Harish Poonja Hon’ble Member of Legislative Assembly, Belthangady, Karnataka & Dr. Prashanth Shetty , Principal SDMCNYS.
