The Shishyopanayana programme for the 35th batch of BNYS students and the 14th batch of PG students was conducted at the SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Ujire, on January 18, 2024, at Mathrushree D. Rathnamma Heggade Auditorium. Followed by Dhanwanthari Homa, an official programme was conducted. Dr. Pradeep Atikukke, a physician and renowned speaker from Belthangady, was the chief guest of the function. Dr. Satheeschandra S., Secretary, SDME Society®, Ujire, addressed the gathering. Sri. Jaishankar, Chief of Vishwavani Newspaper and Suvarana Channel, was the guest of honour at the function. Dr. Prashanth Shetty, Principal, SDMCNYS, Ujire, presided over the function. Dr. Sujatha, Vice Principal, Dean Division of Natural Therapeutics, welcomed the gathering, and Dr. Geetha B. Shetty, Dean, Dept. of Physical Therapeutics & Nutrition, gave a vote of thanks.
