The observation of IDY in the past years has been marked by thousands of harmonious mass demonstrations of Yoga in public places. Due to the contagious nature of COVID-19, no mass gathering was advised in this year. Hence, this year the Ministry is encouraged people to practice Yoga at their homes, with participation from the entire family.
Through the My Life – My Yoga video blogging competition organized by Ministry of AYUSH and Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) raised awareness about Yoga and inspired people to become active participants in the observation of IDY 2020 on 21st June 2020.
- Our Proud alumni Dr.Ashwath Hegde, was the Global Winner in Professional category of Male winners in My life & My Yoga Contest.
- Our proud alumni Dr.Ashwath Hegde, Dr.Akhila Vinod along with her daughter Ms.Meenakshi won the first prizes of Yoga professional, youth category of My life and my yoga contest from India, Kuwait.
- Our Alumini Dr.Vaishnavi Charnya won third prize in professional category in United States of America.
- Our final year student Ms.Arpana Timalsina won the first prizes of Yoga professional, youth category of My life and my yoga contest from Nepal.
