SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Ujire, celebrated its graduation ceremony on January 17th, 2025, marking the culmination of dedication, perseverance, and passion for the 30th undergraduate batch and 11th postgraduate batch. The ceremony was held at the Amritavarshini Sabhabhavana in Dharmastala.
The ceremony was presided over by Rev. Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, Chancellor of SDM University, and other distinguished guests, including Sri Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav, Honourable Minister for AYUSH. Dr. Prashant Shetty, Principal of SDMCNYS, welcomed the gathering. Shri Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav delivered the convocation address, congratulating the outgoing students and emphasizing the importance of yoga and naturopathy in promoting wellness and happiness. He also appreciated the role of Mahatma Gandhiji in Indian Naturopathy. Sri D. Harshendra Kumar, Secretary, SDME Society ®, Ujire, Smt Kamlabai ,Chief Administrative Officer, AYUSH, Karnataka, Dr. Raghavendra Rao, Director, CCRYN, New Delhi & Dr Naveen Vishweshwaraiah, National President of INYGMA ®., Bengaluru were also witnessed the program as Guest of Honor.

Dr. Swetha R J, recipient of the Sitaram Jindal Foundation Gold Medal for securing first rank in MD in Naturopathy (Clinical) in 2024.
Dr. Shraddha R, recipient of the Sitaram Jindal Foundation Gold Medal for securing highest marks in MD in Yoga (Clinical) Examinations in 2024.
Dr. Thanmaye Kriahna, recipient of the President Medal for securing first rank in MD in Nutrition and Dietetics in Naturopathy & Yoga in 2024.
Dr. Gannyashree, recipient of four endowment prizes, including the Sitaram Jindal Foundation Gold Medal for securing first rank in BNYS Examinations.
Presidential Address
Rev. Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade delivered the presidential address, sharing his experiences and advising the students to work towards the upliftment of society. He also highlighted the achievements of the alumni of SDMCNYS and their presence globally. A total of 87 graduates and 23 postgraduates received their certify in the ceremony.
