“31st COLLEGE ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION celebrated on January 20th, 2020, in SDMCNYS, Ujire, under aegis of SDM Education Society®, Ujire, D.K.
Dharmadhikari Poojya. Dr. D Veerendra Heggade presided over the function. Sri.P.N. Ranjit Kumar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH, GOI was the chief guest of the program. Dr. P.K. Venu, Senior consultant Neurology, New land Hospital, London was the guest of honor. Prof. S. Prabhakar, Vice- President, SDME Society®, Ujire, Dr.B. Yashovarma, Secretary, SDME Society®, Ujire & Dr. Prashanth Shetty, Principal were present over the function.
The celebration began with welcome song sung by a group of students followed by a welcome dance performance by students. The presentation of annual report of college activities is a special feature of the annual day function. Felicitation and distribution of certificates of merit in due acknowledgement to the students of the college for their exemplary performance in different academic pursuits formed another segment of the programme. Overall championship in Sports for respective team, declared along with overall boys and girls champions. College magazine & Research Publications of our college was released by president & honorable chief guest of the program.
The cultural activities performed by the students’ exhibited their hidden talent. The various activities performed on the occasion included skits, songs under different styles, musical performances and so forth.
